In addition to our annual production, BGSOS also offers entertainment packages. Tailored to your occasion, we can provide any size of group from small chamber to full company and can perform in period dress or evening wear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orchestral Scores<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Society has a selection of excellent reduced orchestral scores to be used with a small chamber orchestra. The arrangements use every note that appears in the original score and, with clever use of instrumental combinations, produce the sound that you would find in a full orchestra version. This means that the level never swamps the singers, but is a warm, sympathetic and truthful realisation of Sullivan’s music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These scores have been hired out to more than a dozen light operatic societies within the UK. The Royal College of Music hired the score of Patience, which they took to Paris for a performance in 2011, and a theatre company in Atlanta, Georgia, hired The Mikado in 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Costume Hire<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Society has its own in-house costume-making team and has a good selection of costumes for hire at competitive rates to theatrical groups. The images below are only a small sample, from a single show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
